Our History
The Bridge was started in 2010 and officially formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2012 by Valerie and was the outgrowth of years of work with women. The Bridge was tasked with being a mentorship resource for women, led by women helping each other grow in their godly and personal relationship. In 2019, the Bridge 2.0 was re-imagened, enter Rick, by adding the men, couples, into the outreach. The 7 Mountains Mandate compelled us to empower Godly Ministers in all facets of life, healing them from past traumas and challenges, set free to execute their Divine Purpose here on earth.
Our Mission
The Bridge-US.org (and theBridge7m.org) connects people to their ultimate purpose. We operate in both corporate & faith-based communities, focussing on “setting the captives free” from the traumas of life (Isa 61:1, Luke 4:18), stopping the emotional bleeding from those wounds, and restoring the mind, will, and emotions -the Soul- to a Peaceful place (Isa 26:3), centered on the God that created them. We believe this Freedom can help us become ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, and Community, shining Light in every place our feet carry us.
Board Members
Drew & Cheryl
Andrew and Cheryl are originally from Canada and have proudly called Colorado Springs home for many years. Andrew has a strong background in leading projects and teams, supported by his MBA and a clear, steady approach to guiding project work. His time at Compassion International, where he served as both Resource Manager and Project Manager, gave him the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work impacting children in developing nations. He currently leads IT projects at Progressive Insurance, delivering strategic technology solutions that support business outcomes and operational excellence.
Cheryl holds a Master's degree in Practical Ministry and serves as an Advisor and Team Director with Apostolic Intercessors International, where she is committed to providing strategic guidance and supporting the growth of ministry teams. An ordained minister, author, and speaker, she is passionate about encouraging and equipping others in their faith journey, and remains grateful for every opportunity to serve.
Together, Andrew and Cheryl have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of three grown children. They are embracing with great joy their newest chapter as grandparents to a one-year-old grandson, with another grandchild on the way.
